Arte Sella has often resorted to the use of words to add attractiveness, emotions and curiosity to its initiatives. The activities in Malga Costa (Costa shepherd’s hut area) could be entitled: Arte Sella in-stalla (stalla means “cowshed” in Italian). These are proper installations realized in a real cowshed. In the last few years the cowshed has become a new exhibition and cultural area, which is in the framework of Arte Natura and of other activities organised by Arte Sella The importance of this project lies within several factors: the quality of the artists and the peculiar affinities between the original functions of this area and the artistic activities which are meant to revive this place and its spaces for cultural aims. To explain it with a funny simile: once cows used to take grass from nature and transform it into milk for people; now the works of art made of natural materials, inspired to nature and exposed in the cowshed-gallery become culture, namely food for the human mind.
